Point Presentations
Shannondale Elementary
As part of the Shannondale IA Curriculum Integration
project, IACT members have held two presentations
thus far with Shannondale faculty members in order
to educate them on IA issues as they relate to primary
education. The first presentation was a very brief
introduction to the project, held before the first
day of school to the entire Shannondale faculty on
August 8, 2005. The second presentation was a more
formal Inservice training for the Shannondale faculty
held on October 11, 2005. The goal of this training
session was to introduce IA concepts, give the faculty
some idea of how the concepts would be introduced
into the Technology curriculum, reinforce the need
for IA integration into the primary level of education,
and to answer any questions the faculty may have had.
