The purpose of this presentation is to provide an
overview of what Social Engineering is, and how Social
Engineers work. Additionally, this paper will serve
as a how to guide on securing yourself and your valuable
data against Social Engineering. This is a non-technical
guide intended to train users about security policies
and ensuring that they are followed as a primary defense
against social engineering.

The purpose of this presentation is to provide an
overview of what you need to know about secure e-mail.
The presentation covers how an e-mail is sent and
some of the security threats to e-mail communication.
E-mail is rapidly taking over the way we communicate
in our personal lives as well as business. Although
e-mail is relatively easy to use, it is important
to understand the risks involved.
Ward, S. Applying for Government Agency Positions
and Government Contracting Firms
The purpose of this presentation is to provide an
overview on how to successfully begin looking toward
future prospects with Agencies within the government
and their subsidiary contracting firms. This will
primarily cover the aspects of job requirements, qualifying,
disqualifiers, and means of gaining security clearances.
This will also present the positive aspects of working
in such a high demand and rewarding career.

officially unveil it's website.
About Fountainhead College of Technology's (FCT) Center for Information Assurance & Cybersecurity Training (IACT)
Fountainhead College of Technology, formerly Tennessee Institute of Electronics, was founded in 1947 and is committed to using it resources to significantly contribute to efforts to secure the nation's critical infrastructure. In 1999 the college began offering an associate's degree in Information Technology with curriculum developed to include information security training. In 2002 the college began development of a baccalaureate degree in Network Security and Forensics; and in 2003 Fountainhead College of Technology became the first college in the southeast to offer a computer security focused baccalaureate degree. The mission of the IACT center is to develop and maintain a strong information assurance curriculum that adheres to national standards, and to also address the cybersecurity needs of the community by offering training and support for Fountainhead College of Technology students, staff, and faculty; local law enforcement; government agencies; and information technology professionals.
