Fountainhead First IACT Update

November 13, 2006

The National Security Agency sponsors one principal from each of its designated Centers of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAEIAE) to attend its annual conference. The goals of the conference are to receive national program updates, network with other CAEIAEs in order to collaborate in IA research, develop new opportunities for our students, and present the first update on the status of Fountainhead’s IACT center to NSA, DHS and CAEIAE peers. In addition IACT sponsors a second principal.

Both Program Coordinator Tammy Alexander and Vice President Casey Rackley traveled to Baltimore, Maryland, to attend the conference and achieve its established goals. The IACT duo presented an overview of courses, enrollment and graduation statistics, certificates awarded, graduate employment activities, recent program grants and future initiatives.
